Our secret South of the border dry spice rub gives this chicken leg a distinctive Texan barbecue flavour. Served with maple baked beans, sautéed kale, and creamy coleslaw

 

Ingredients: Bone in chicken leg, secret spice blend, maple syrup, pinto beans, tomato sauce, mustard, shredded cabbage, kale, apple cider vinegar, fresh orange juice, orange zest olive oil, salt, black pepper

Heating Instructions

Microwave:
The meal is in a microwave safe container. Simply remove the lid, leave it on top of the container allowing room for steam to escape and heat it up for 2-3 minutes, depending on the oven.  

Pro-tip: This method will prevent your food from drying upCompletely remove the lid of your meal. Wet a paper towel, squeeze most of the water out over the sink, then place the paper towel on top of your meal, covering it completely. Put the container in the microwave and heat it up for 2-3 minutes. The wet paper towel will steam, be careful when handling the container out of the microwave.  

Conventional oven:
Remove the food from the container and place it in an oven safe dish. Cover with aluminum foil and place it in a preheated oven at 350º F for 10-15 minutes.
